It changes the measurement, yes, not the product. A shade mounting to elevated pier decking is a different job than one mounting to a slab-level exterior wall, with a different ladder and a different approach to plan for. We look at the actual structure at the site visit before anything is quoted, so there's no guessing from a mainland set of assumptions.
Exterior and interior shades are bookable today. Remodeling, roofing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, fencing and landscaping are coming soon and not yet bookable.
No. Elevation is a fact about how your home is built, not anything a shade adds to it. What we sell carries no wind or flood rating and is not storm, hurricane or flood protection of any kind, on the island or the mainland. If Galveston Island is ever ordered to evacuate, follow that instruction first, not anything sold on this site.
Yes. Crystal Beach, Port Bolivar and Gilchrist are all on our map, ferry crossing included. The consultation and the in-person site visit are free either way, with no obligation.
Both. A storefront in Texas City and a raised home on Galveston Island get the same site visit and the same custom measurement as a living room in League City.

Before we leave we walk you through operating and caring for your shades, and explain any manufacturer warranty that applies to them.
